The spaceThe River House has 5 beautiful, generously sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a rustic open plan dining and living area with a log burner, a modern kitchen and laundry, underfloor heating and outdoor entertaining areas with a patio and BBQ facilities. Soak in the outside bath under the stars and when the river is low, sit on the lovely small private beach beside a small creek which flows into the clear waters of the Hawea river.

Open plan styled kitchen, positioned close to the entrance of the house, with double sliding doors that open up to a private courtyard. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need from pots and pans, basic pantry items.

Beautiful indoor and outdoor dining options, plenty of space for all of your friends and family!

Casual seating areas with log burner and a big screen tv with internet capabilities. Sit back and enjoy a movie night with your family and friends.

Neighborhood overviewWanaka has over 750km of trails that are made for walking, hiking and mountain biking. Explore nearby Mt Aspiring National Park, go canyoning, skydiving, jet-boating, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding and in the winter spend your days on the snow-covered mountains skiing or snowboarding.
If relaxing is more your style, there are plenty of boutique retail stores, museums, cinemas and art galleries to keep you entertained. With excellent restaurants, cafes, world class vineyards, boutique breweries and an award-winning distillery even the most discerning gourmet will be satisfied.
Getting aroundWe can arrange transfers to and from Queenstown airport either by vehicle or helicopter. Rental cars are available in Queenstown and Wanaka and there is plenty of on-site parking at the property.
